How long does the workshop run for?
The workshops typically goes for for 3 to 3.5 hours, with a 10 minute break halfway through. There is ample time for skill practice, engaging conversation and questions.

Some of the topics that are covered: - Parental instincts - How to identify an unwell child - DRSABCD: Baby & Child CPR demonstration and practice. - Choking, gagging and solids safety - Allergic reactions & anaphylaxis - Breathing conditions and concerns - Rashes including meningococcal (what's concerning and what is not). - Fevers & febrile convulsions - Burns, fractures and controlling bleeding. - Where to get help when it isn't an emergency. - General tips and tricks from a Mum and Paramedic
